Demeaux Co-Champion, Tigers Open Season With Team Title

Clemson, S.C. – Sophomore Juliette Demeaux fired rounds of 66 and 71 to finish 7-under-par and claim co-medalist honors at the 2025 Tiger Classic, as Clemson women’s golf captured the team title in its season-opening event at the Walker Course. The Tigers combined for 8-under over 36 holes to secure the victory in the one-day tournament.

Clemson separated itself in the second round, improving its team score by six strokes from 1-under in the morning to 7-under in the afternoon. Demeaux paced the Tigers, finishing two shots ahead of teammate Isabella Rawl, who competed as an individual and carded 68–71 to place fourth at 5-under.

Freshman Sarah Uebelhart made an immediate impact in her debut, shooting 73–68 to tie for sixth at 3-under. Senior Sydney Roberts, also competing individually, tied for sixth with rounds of 72–69.

Freshman Keya Naik added a top-10 finish, posting 73–70 to close at 1-under and tie for tenth. Junior Ivy Schulze (+3) and sophomore Aitana Tuesta (+5) rounded out the team lineup, while freshman Claire Green (+4), competing as an individual, recorded rounds of 74–74.

Clemson’s steady play across the lineup lifted the Tigers above the 11-team field. UNC Asheville finished second at 2-under, while Charlotte (+1) rounded out the podium.

Demeaux shared medalist honors with Youngstown State’s Neeranuch Prajunpanich and Charlotte’s Pimchompoo Chaisilprungruang, who also finished at 7-under.
