The camp marks the first steps towards the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, which is held in Columbia in September, for which the USA qualified last June. Players born on or after Jan. 1, 2004, are age-eligible for the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
Davis, who will be making her first U-20 WYNT call-up, helped the Tigers make history during the 2023 season by advancing to the program’s first College Cup appearance. The freshman played in all 26 games and tallied 10 points (one goal, eight assists). Her eight assists on the year tied for a season-high on the roster. Davis also earned her first all-conference nod in 2023 after being named to the 2023 ACC All-Freshman Team and was a 2023 ACC Tournament Team selection. She also clocked in at No. 4 on the Top Drawer Soccer Top 100 Freshman to Watch list.
