David Collins Chosen ACC Track & Field Performer of the Week

GREENSBORO, NC – Clemson freshman David Collins and Duke first-year runner Sheela Agrawal have been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Indoor Track Performers of the Week for January 17, after turning in strong performances at their respective meets this past weekend.

Collins, a native of Philadelphia, Pa., won the 60 meter dash at the Clemson Invitational with a time of 6.66, giving him an NCAA provisional qualification.

Agrawal turned in a solid outing at the New York City Armory event this past weekend as she captured a pair of individual titles in the meet. The Swansea, Mass. native won the mile run in a school-record time of 4:54.08 and also won the 3,000 meter event with a time of 10:00.57.
