CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson Tigers (22-7) are set to take on the No. 9 Columbia Lions (18-5) in the second round of the NCAA Tournament at the New York City Regional in New York, N.Y. on Saturday, May 3 at 12 p.m. ET.
The Tigers are coming off a 4-0 sweep over Quinnipiac as the win allowed them to advance to the second round. Columbia took down Binghamton in the first round to secure their spot in the round of 32.
The winner of the match will advance to super regionals; the last time the Tigers advanced past the round of 32 was in 2004.
