Cross Country Teams Record Top Five Finishes

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Both the Clemson men’s and women’s cross country teams finished in the top five at the Notre Dame Cross Country Invitational at South Bend, IN Friday.

The Clemson men’s team finished fifth in the 19-team meet with 155 points, while the Lady Tigers finished fourth in the 23-team event with 160 points.

On the men’s side, Joe Gibson finished sixth in the meet with a time of 23:30. Teammate Estaban Diaz finished 16th with a time of 23:49.

In the women’s race, Clemson’s top finisher was Beth Ahern as she finished 16th with a time of 17:29. Julianne Littmann finished 21st overall (17:36).
