CLEMSON, SC – COLLEGE SPORTS SOUTHEAST announced Friday afternoon that six of Clemson’s regular season football games for the 2000 season will be replayed by COLLEGE SPORTS SOUTHEAST on a “sample basis” and aired on South Carolina ETV each Sunday evening during the months of January and February. The replays will be edited to accommodate a three-hour window.
This Sunday’s (January 7th) rebroadcast will include the Clemson vs. Maryland football contest. The Clemson vs. Missouri game will be aired on January 14th, the Clemson vs. Wake Forest game will be aired on January 28th, the Clemson vs. Virginia game will be aired on February 4th, the Clemson vs. N.C. State game will be aired on February 11th, and final rebroadcast of the regular season will include the Clemson vs. South Carolina game which will be aired on February 18th. Each rebroadcast will be aired between 5:00 – 8:00 PM.
Veteran College Sports Central anchor Doug Bell will be the principal announcer for the Clemson broadcasts. Bell has provided play-by-play for Big 12 Conference basketball, SEC baseball and the NFL. Cecil “Hootie” Ingram will serve as color analyst for COLLEGE SPORTS SOUTHEAST’s Clemson football broadcasts. Ingram served as Clemson head football coach 1970-72.
In order to uphold the integrity of the contract between COLLEGE SPORTS SOUTHEAST and Knology of Charleston, the sampling of SCETV and COLLEGE SPORTS SOUTHEAST broadcasts will blacked out in the Charleston market. For those residents living in the Charleston area, as well as residents throughout the state, call your local cable operator and ask for COLLEGE SPORTS SOUTHEAST, the cable home for Clemson sports.
