Clemson’s Nancy Augustyniak Named Second-Team All-American

CLEMSON, SC – Clemson Women’s Soccer player Nancy Augustyniak was named second team All-American as announced by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Monday.

Augustyniak, a defender, helped lead Clemson to a 19-3-1 record overall and to the final eight of the NCAA Tournament. The Lady Tigers had the ACC’s stingiest defense with the lowest goals against in the ACC (0.68) for the second year in a row. She was also a big factor in Clemson’s First ACC Regular Season Championship. She also was credited with an assist and a goal in Clemson’s 2-1 upset win over National Champion, University of North Carolina on September 13.
