Clemson, SC- After a three goal performance against 11th-ranked Virginia on Saturday night, Clemson sophomore Lindsay Browne was named to Soccer America’s Team of the Week for week five of the college season (Sept. 24-30). With the Tigers leading 1-0 against the Cavaliers, the native of Encinitas, CA pushed the game out of reach by scoring three goals in a twenty minute span in the second half. Browne’s three-goal feat marked the 13th time in school history that a Lady Tiger has recorded a hat trick. In seven games this season, Browne has five goals and six assists for a team leading 16 points.
