Clemson Women’s Soccer Team to Play Host to Georgia in Exhibition Match Saturday

Clemson, SC – The preseason 19th-ranked Clemson women’s soccer team will play host to Georgia in the second exhibition match of the 2007 season on Saturday evening. The match between the Lady Tigers and the Bulldogs will begin at 7:00 p.m. at Riggs Field on the Clemson campus.

Head Coach Todd Bramble’s team opened the 2007 season with an exhibition win over Davidson on Tuesday evening. Senior Nuria Zufia scored the lone goal of the match and was assisted by fellow senior Courtney Foster to give the Lady Tigers a 1-0 victory.

Clemson will open the 2007 regular season on Friday, August 31 against Liberty. The match will begin at 5:00 p.m. at Riggs Field and will be followed by the Tiger men’s soccer match against South Carolina at 7:30 p.m.
