About the Camps

Residential Camps The residential camps include an extensive week of advanced individual training. Highlights include All-Star Matches and a Camp World Cup Tournament. Learn from experienced camp clinicians and collegiate coaches who demonstrate technique at the highest level. Our camps have helped develop many young players to move on to the next level. In fact, many Clemson players have been former campers at the Clemson Camps.

The Elite Striker Camps The Elite Striker Camps are geared for any serious player who wants to develop her ability to score goals. Shooting techniques, heading, and small-sided scoring games will be a part of every session. We incorporate all training at this camp toward developing the skills it takes to be a successful attacking player. If goalscoring is your #1 priority, then this is the camp for you!

Accommodations HOLMES DORM: Campers attending all camps except the Elite Striker Camp in August will be housed in Holmes Dorm, a newly built & comfortable air-conditioned on-campus dorm. 2 rooms share a bathroom & shower in this suite style dorm. There is a phone jack in each room if you would like to bring a phone and each room has it’s own phone number so family members can call into the room directly. Holmes is located next door to Harcombe cafeteria where all campers will be eating their meals. Holmes is commonly recognized as the best dorm on campus.

RAMADA INN: Campers attending the Elite Striker Camp August 4-6 will be staying at the newly renovated Ramada Inn. Each room has 2 queen size beds, a full bathroom, & a TV. We will be housing four campers in each room. The hotel also has a lovely pool. We will have supervised swim time and 24 hour security. We will eat our meals at the Rockhoppers restaurant adjoined to the Ramada Inn. The Ramada is one of the best hotels in Clemson.

Clemson Women’s Soccer Camps . . . * are open to any and all entrants (limited only by number and age). * will not employ or give free admission to a high school or prep school athletics award winner. * are committed to following all NCAA, ACC, and University rules and regulations pertaining to the operation of sports camps.

The “Tiger Team Camp”: Welcome to all teams that play U-13 thru U-19 for an exciting Team Building Camp. This camp will develop your team in the following areas: * Team Chemistry * How to defend together * Better training habits * How to improve scoring * Goal setting as a team * Special sessions on set-pieces * Finding the best style or system * Role of the Captain to fit your team * Preparing for tournaments

This camp will also be set up in a tournament format and we are accepting only a limited number of teams. So please sign up early and join the”Tiger Team Camp” and gear your team for success during your 2000-’01 campaign to be the best! Dates for the Tiger Team Camp are July 13-16. All applications must be sent together with a minimum of 11/team. We welcome all team coaches to attend and join us in this wonderful soccer extravaganza!

Extensive goalkeeping training will be offered at all of the camps. You will be trained in both the technical and tactical areas of the game. Our goalkeeping academy will put you in “game situations” with some of the top players in the country. The goalkeeping academy will be under the direction of the Clemson Goalkeeping Coach Alyssa O’Brien and ably assisted by collegiate goalkeepers.
