The new women’s lacrosse facility has broken ground with significant progress being made on the future home of the Tigers.
The facility features a new lacrosse stadium, including bleacher seating and artificial turf as well as a 9,000 square foot operations complex encompassing coaches offices, locker rooms, player lounge and other amenities.
A new 10,000 square foot training and recovery facility with designated space for sports science, nutrition, and sports medicine will be constructed to serve lacrosse, rowing, and gymnastics adjacent to their facilities.
Construction is currently underway with a projection to be completed to host competition in the 2023-24 season. Current developments on the project include the construction of a retaining wall on the side of the field and light posts surrounding the future field.
