Series Note: Clemson has won 20 of the last 23. Wake Forest Coach Jim Caldwell owns two wins over Clemson in Death Valley, 1993 and 1998.
Tickets: Reserved seats for $25 apiece. A special $6 ticket will be available for students high school age and under at Gate 11 on the day of the game beginning at 11:00 AM. The gates to Memorial Stadium open at 11:00 AM PM.

Other Notes: Freddie James and Gary Childress are slated to start at defensive tackles for Clemson in place of Jason Holloman and Terry Jolly. Holloman and Jolly have been injured. If James starts, it will be the first career start for the fifth year senior’s career. Childress started last week and started eight games in 1998.
Clemson free safety Robert Carswell needs just two tackles to break Terry Kinard’s Clemson record for tackles by a defensive back. He has 293 and Kinard had 294 from 1978-82.
Clemson ranks in the top five in the nation in scoring offense, pass defense, total defense, scoring defense, and turnovers gained. Woodrow Dantzler is third in the nation in passing efficiency and Travis Zachery is third in scoring.
