Clemson vs South Carolina a Sellout

Clemson, SC – The Clemson vs. South Carolina game on Saturday night is officially a sellout. The two state rivals will play at 7:00 PM at Clemson’s Memorial Stadium in a game that will be televised nationally by ESPN2.

A crowd of 81,500 is expected for the contest. It will give Clemson an average of over 75,000 for the seven home games this year, the 12th straight year Clemson has averaged at least 75,000 per home game.

Based on the national attendance statistics listed on the NCAA website this week, Clemson should finish in the top 20 in home attendance this year, the 30th consecutive year Clemson has ranked in the top 20. Clemson first appeared in the top 20 in attendance in 1981, the year Clemson won the National Championship.
