Clemson will face Ohio State in the Discover Orange Bowl on Friday, January 3, 2014 at 8:30 PM at Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL. This will be the second time in the last three years Clemson has played in the Discover Orange Bowl. This is the first time Clemson has been selected for a BCS Bowl as an at-large team. Overall, this will be Clemson’s 36th appearance in a bowl game and the ninth consecutive year, the 10th longest active streak in college football. The Clemson Athletic Ticket Office is currently selling tickets to the 2014 Discover Orange Bowl. Ticket prices range from $50 to $225, with a limited number of $50 tickets made available by the department in an effort to provide an economical option for fans to support the Tigers against Ohio State.

Bowl tickets will be assigned to IPTAY members based on IPTAY priority points. General public tickets will be assigned based upon order date.

Additionally, the athletic department will provide a complimentary parking pass ($20 value) to any ticket order of four or more. All ticket orders processed through the athletic department will have all processing or shipping costs waived.

STUDENT TICKET INFORMATIONThe Tigers are Orange Bowl Bound! We hope to see you in Miami to support your Clemson Tigers against Ohio State on Jan. 3! The Clemson Athletic Department is offering a discounted lower-level ticket to students for $50. Students may purchase up to two tickets at the reduced rate, and student tickets will go on sale Thursday, Dec. 12 at 8 a.m., in the Ticket Office at Memorial Stadium (next to Gate 9). Tickets can be purchased with cash or credit card, and will be distributed on a first come, first served basis so please purchase tickets with your friends to sit together.

Several fan options are available through Clemson’s official travel partner at Clemson Sports Travel. From land only to same-day air packages, turn to Clemson Sports Travel for your trip to cheer on the Tigers at the 2014 Discover Orange Bowl. STUDENT TRAVEL PACKAGEThe Clemson Athletic Department is offering a discounted student travel package to support the Tigers in the 2014 Discover Orange Bowl. With prices beginning at $285 for transportation, ticket and two-nights lodging, Clemson is urging its students to make the trip to South Florida.

The price points are based on number of students per room, with prices at $555 (1-per-room), $375 (2-per-room), $315 (3-per-room) or $285 (4-per-room) total package includes round-trip bus fare, 2 nights hotel stay in South Florida, transportation to-and-from Sun Life Stadium and a ticket to cheer on the Tigers against Ohio State!

GAMEDAY TRAFFIC INFORMATIONHeading to the Discover Orange Bowl? With 25 years as one of the nation’s premier sports facilities, Sun Life Stadium is South Florida’s home to the Miami Dolphins, University of Miami Hurricanes, Discover Orange Bowl, the 2013 Discover BCS National Championship Game and other world-class events. Touted as one of the largest New Year’s Eve celebrations in the South East, the free 11-hour street festival is full of fun and excitement for both children and adults. An estimated 100,000 revelers will crowd downtown Fort Lauderdale on Tuesday, December 31 from 4 p.m. to 3 a.m. to wait with anticipation for the lighted ball to drop at midnight.
