Clemson to Play at Rutgers in Second Round of NIT

Clemson, SC–After posting a 77-57 win over Georgia in the first round of the NIT, Clemson (17-14) will travel to Rutgers (19-12) for second round action on Tuesday in a nationally televised game on ESPN. The contest will tip-off at 7:30 p.m. at the Louis Brown Athletic Center in New Brunswick, NJ.

This will be the first meeting between Clemson and Rutgers on the hardwood. Rutgers advanced to the second round by defeating Hofstra at home by a score of 58-45.

The winner of the Clemson-Rutgers game will face the winner of the Butler-Old Dominion game. The site and time of that game is TBA.
