Clemson To Face Western Kentucky Saturday Night

CLEMSON, SC-The Clemson women’s basketball team will play host to Western Kentucky on Saturday, December 13, at Littlejohn Coliseum in Clemson, SC at 7:00 p.m. Fans bringing a toy or canned food item to the game will receive free admission. The items will be donated to the Salvation Army to help out others during the holiday season.

Clemson has a 5-1 record overall and have won three games in a row. Clemson defeated Furman 74-66 last Sunday afternoon in the Lady Tigers’ latest action.

Clemson is led in scoring by Lakeia Stokes with a 16.7 ppg. average. She also leads the team in rebounding with a 8.7 rpg. mark.

Western Kentucky is led in scoring by Tiffany Porter-Talbert with a 12.7 ppg. average. Krystal Garnder leads the squad in rebounding with an 8.2 rpg. mark.

This will be the fifth meeting between the two schools. The series is tied 2-2. Clemson defeated Western Kentucky last season 69-62.
