Clemson to face New Mexico Friday at 6:30 p.m.

CLEMSON, SC–The Clemson men’s soccer team will play New Mexico Friday at 6:30 p.m. in the semifinals of the NCAA Men’s Soccer College Cup at the SAS Soccer Park in Cary, NC.

Clemson has a 15-5-3 record overall this season. The Tigers are led in scoring by Dane Richards with 11 goals and eight assists for 30 points.

SMU will play Maryland at 4:00 p.m. on Friday in the other semifinal match.

The SMU-Maryland match will be televised live on ESPN 2 and ESPN U. The Clemson-New Mexico match will be televised live on ESPN U only.

The championship match on Sunday, December 11 will be televised live on ESPN 2.

This will be the seventh time that Clemson has played in the NCAA Final Four. The Tigers won the National Championship in 1984 and 1987.
