Clemson to Face Indiana Sunday in NCAA Men’s Soccer

CLEMSON, SC–The Clemson men’s soccer team will play host to Indiana Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. on Riggs Field in the NCAA Tournament’s quarterfinal round.

Clemson has a 22-1 record overall, while Indiana has a 20-2 record overall. The Tigers have now won 17 games in a row and set a new school record for most consecutive victories. The 22 wins also ties a school best for most wins in a single season. The Clemson defense has not allowed a goal in 572 minutes (over six games).

The Tigers will be making their second consecutive trip to the NCAA’s Final Eight. Since the program began in 1967, Clemson has been to nine NCAA Quarterfinals. The last time Clemson played host to the quarterfinal round was in 1979.

Tickets may be purchased beginning Tuesday at the Clemson University Athletic Ticket Office, Mr. Knickerbockers in McAlister Square in Greenville, SC and at Schlotzsky’s Deli in Anderson, SC across from the Anderson Memorial Hospital. Ticket prices are $7.00 for adults, $5.00 for college students of the participating institutions, high school age and under and senior citizens.
