Clemson Tigers Participate In Toulon Festival

CLEMSON, SC – Clemson men’s soccer players, Oguchi Onyewu and Doug Warren have been selected to participate in the 29th annual Toulon Festival with the U-20 national team.

The US begins one of the most prestigious tournaments in the world, by taking on Italy today at 12:00 ET time. The team will also face two-time defending champion Columbia on Saturday May 26 (12:00 ET) and round out there group play with the Netherlands on Monday May 28 (1:00 ET).

Current tigers Ricky Lewis and Kenny Cutler, were also in the pool, but late injuries in training camp forced them to miss the tournament. The U-20’s are currently preparing for the World Championship’s next month in Argentina, where they will face Chile, China and the Ukraine. All of the US games at the Toulon Festival will be televised live and can be seen on Fox Sports World and Fox Sports Espanol.
