The Clemson Tiger Network will provide an on-location pre-season television call-in talk show from the Madren Center August 24, 2000, featuring head coach Tommy Bowden.
The hour-long College Sports Central Special Edition is scheduled to air at 7:30 p.m. EST, and will be hosted by Jim Phillips, co-hosted by Tommy Bowden and will have commentary from assistant coaches. The live broadcast will be available via ClemsonTigers.com, television and radio as well as network television via College Sports Southeast. The live broadcast will be available to all television and radio entities throughout the region to carry live or on a replay basis.
“We are looking forward to being able to provide in-depth commentary to the Clemson fans from Coach Bowden and his staff,” said Brenda Rabon, general manager of the Clemson Tiger Network. “This is an opportunity for Clemson fans and coaches to connect before the season starts.”
The broadcast will also be available to IPTAY clubs across the nation via satellite television. The satellite coordinates will be available four days prior to the telecast.
College Sports Southeast will provide live coverage of the program in its entirety. The network reaches nearly 700,000 households in a five state region and will provide highlight replay telecasts of every Clemson Football game in the fall as well as “Clemson Football with Tommy Bowden.”
