Clemson Tied for First As Play Halted at Palmetto Cleveland Golf Invitational

Clemson, SC—Clemson was in a tie for first place out of 15 teams when play was halted in the first round of the Palmetto Cleveland Golf Invitational at the Palmetto Golf Club in Aiken, SC.
The 15 teams were scheduled to play 36 holes on Monday and 18 on Tuesday, but weather conditions were difficult on Monday and teams played between 10 and 12 holes.  The teams will return to the course on Tuesday morning at 9 a.m. to complete the first round, then the second round will be played.   The tournament has now been reduced to 36 holes.
Clemson was tied for first with Campbell at seven-over-par when play was halted.   Clemson’s Lucas Augustsson had the individual lead by three shots at three-under-par when play was stopped.
