Clemson, SC — Clemson student-athletes compiled a 2.93 GPA for the spring semester, the highest on record, according to data released Tuesday by Clemson University’s Office of Institutional Research and Planning . Since Vickery Hall opened in 1991, the overall GPA of the Clemson athletic programs has risen from 2.33 to this year’s record 2.93.
“We are proud of the performance of our student-athletes in the classroom,” said Clemson Athletic Director Dr. Terry Don Phillips. “I would like to compliment Becky Bowman and her staff at Vickery Hall. These results and our recently released APR data, show our coaches continue to make academics a priority.”
