CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson rowing team will compete in the Clemson Sprints Saturday on Lake Hartwell. Spectators are encouraged to watch from the East Dike, and parking will be available behind the Jervey Athletic Center near the golf practice range. Heats of the regatta begin at 8 a.m., followed by the finals at 12:30 p.m. Finals will continue through 2:50 p.m, and will be followed by an awards ceremony at 3:20 p.m.
The Tigers will compete in the heats of the Women’s Varsity 4+ at 8:20 a.m. and in the Women’s Varsity Novice 8+ at 8:50 a.m. and 9:10 a.m. The team will participate in the Women’s Varsity Lightweight 4+ at 9:40 a.m. The Women’s Varsity 8+ heats will be held at 10:50 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
Over 20 teams will compete at the regatta, including sixth-ranked Northeastern, Georgia Tech, Miami University, University of Miami, West Virginia, Furman, College of Charleston, The Citadel, Alabama and Auburn.||
