Clemson Men’s Soccer Announces Signees

CLEMSON, SC – Clemson Head Men’s Soccer Coach Mike Noonan has announced the signing of seven student-athletes to national letters-of-intent to join the Tiger program this fall. The list of signees includes: Andy Anglade, John Cajka, TJ Casner, Kyle David Fisher, Matthew Freeman, Preston Gayton and Richard Robinson.

“This class is not as large as last year’s freshman class but its talent level is just as deep,” said Noonan. “This class gives us more depth in every position. We are very excited to add these fine young men to our team. My staff and I went from coast to coast looking for the right men to join our program. We are happy to continue our tradition of being successful in recruiting the Atlanta, GA area as well.”

Richard Robinson…Midfielder…Elmont, NY Albertson SC USSF team 2009-Present ENYSSA ’94 ODP Team 2007, 2008, 2009 Regional Pool 2008, 2009 Lead his ENYS team to victory by scoring both goals in ODP Region 1 Championship, winning 2:1 Dix Hills Thunder US Youth Soccer- Help lead his team to win State Championship for 2007, 2008 and 2009 Also lead his team to victory by scoring in both Regional Championships for 2007, 2009 National Championship Participation 2009(placed 3rd) High School Varsity Team in 8th grade-present Leading goal scorer in 9th and 10th grade for Lawrence Woodmere Academy Leading in assists 12th for Elmont Memorial and Captain High School Awards: All-State, All-Region and All-Long Island

Robert “TJ” Casner…Forward…Irvine, CA Irvine, CA University HS Pateadores Academy Leading team in goals scored in 2011-2012 season 4 year US Soccer Development Academy player starting in 2008 Top Drawer Soccer 4 Star rating Trained and competed in England with Premier League teams; Blackburn Rovers, Everton FC, Manchester City, Ipswich, and West Ham Trained and competed in Brazil with Sao Paulo FC and Clube Atletico Paranaense U14, U15 National Team pool – trained with team in Carson, CA Member of 2006/2007 U.S. Futsal National Championship team with the Mexican American Community Services Association (MACSA)

Kyle Fisher…Defender…Easley, SC Plays center back for Nick Finotti on Carolina Elite Soccer Association’s under 18 team and helped lead them to the #1 national ranking by Topdrawersoccer.com. Has won 5 state championships with his club teams. Has played varsity soccer for Wren High School under a coaching staff of Mike Hazel, Jeremy McCall, and George Veris since his freshman year, helping them to a top 10 finish for 2 of his 3 years.
