Clemson Improves To 8-10 Overall, 3-3 In The ACC

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Clemson volleyball team improved to 8-10 overall and 3-3 in the ACC as they defeated Wake Forest 3-2 (8-15, 16-14, 15-13, 7-15, 16-14) on Saturday evening at Reynolds Gym. The Demon Deacons have lost five matches in a row and are 1-14 in the all-time series with Clemson.

Jodi Steffes led the Tigers with 29 kills and 19 digs while Kiki Dallao tallied 28 kills with 22 digs and four block assists. Meredith Kirtland added 12 kills with a match-high 26 digs. Tami BySura tallied 17 digs with two service aces while Jessi Betcher recorded 60 assists.

The Demon Deacons were led by Margaret Davidson who registered 26 kills and five blocks (two solo). Trina Maso de Moya tallied 24 kills with 31 digs while Ashlee Phillips handed out 79 assists.

Clemson continues its ACC slate with a match against Georgia Tech on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. in Atlanta, GA.
