Clemson Has Six Former Players at NFL Combine

Clemson, SC — Clemson has six former players who will be attending the NFL combine at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, IN February 18-24. The list of former Tigers attending includes James Davis, Michael Hamlin, Cullen Harper, Aaron Kelly, Dorell Scott and Chris Clemons.

With six former players attending, Clemson ranks in a tie for ninth among all schools as far as team representation at the annual event that will help NFL scouts make draft decisions in April. Southern California has the most representatives with 11, while LSU is second with nine. Penn State, Georgia, Ohio State, and Oklahoma, will have eight apiece, while Wisconsin and Oregon will have seven apiece.

Clemson will have six representatives along with California, Cincinnati, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, South Carolina and Tennessee.

Davis will workout with the running backs. He finished his Clemson career ranked second in school history in career touchdowns and career rushing yards. Harper finished his Clemson career second in career passing efficiency and touchdown passes, while Hamlin finished second in career takeaways and third in interceptions. Kelly finished as not only Clemson’s but the ACC’s career reception leader. Scott and Clemons were three year starters for the Clemson program.
