Clemson, S.C. — Clemson Gymnastics Head Coach Amy Smith announced the addition of three student-athletes on National Signing Day. The three newcomers, Celeste Field, Brooke Pierson, and Molly Brinkman, will join the Tigers’ roster in the fall of 2025.
“This 2025 class is the next level for us,” said Smith. ”They bring so much to the table, not only gymnastically, but who they are individually and what excellent students they are. They will definitely help us continue to elevate Clemson Gymnastics into the next phases of growth for the program!”
“All three of these athletes are bringing big E level floor skills and 10.0 start values on vault with highly executed Yurchenko one and halves. The biggest thing these three new Tigers bring is their high level of competitive drive that will help this program get to the levels that we are striving for – to make it as a team to the national championships in Ft. Worth. Their ambition and pursuit for excellence in all that they do align perfectly to take us to Texas and make them a perfect fit to our culture.”

On choosing Clemson…
I chose Clemson because I love the family atmosphere, the coaches and team, along with the academic focus.
Amy Smith on Brooke…
Brooke is an elite gymnast that should compete as an all-arounder for us. Her bars are at an extraordinary level, beautiful lines along with an extremely high level of difficulty, which make her an immediate stand-out on that event. She has a dynamic full-in and back 1.5 to front full on floor, which is huge. Her beam is equal to bars with beautiful lines and high difficulty skills. And her dynamic 1.5 will be making our vault line-up.

2023 Regional All-Around Champion; 2023 National Vault Champion; 10.0 Vault Score (2023)
I chose Clemson because the moment I stepped on campus, it felt like home. I love how well-rounded Clemson is as a University both academically and athletically. It’s so evident that the team is determined to be their best but to also make the team feel like a family. The team culture and the opportunities are truly unmatchable. Clemson is a place like no other and I can’t wait to be a part of it.
Amy Smith on Celeste…
Celeste is a level 10 gymnast that is pure power. The events that she should make an immediate impact on are vault and floor. Celeste has already scored a 10.0 on her laid out one and half on vault and is eager to get many more as a Tiger. She also has a huge double layout and finishes with a front through to strong double tuck and she could also find herself in the beam line-up for us.

2024 State All-Around Champion; 2024 State Vault, Bars, Floor Champion; 2023 Regional Floor Champion
I chose Clemson because of the love I felt as soon as I stepped on campus. Everyone is truly “All In” for the school and the whole town feels like a family. Everyone was so kind and welcoming and I knew I would be loved in the gymnastics program. The facilities are incredible as well, but it was the love that made me want to be a tiger!
Amy Smith on Molly…
Molly is also a level 10 gymnast that was initially recruited as a three-event gymnast – vault, beam and floor. However, the work Molly has put in over the last year on bars has put her in position to be an all-arounder for us, which is really cool! As previously stated, she has a huge 1.5 that will make an immediate impact on our vault line-up. The work she has put in over the last year on bars has garnered her a nice ray to immediate bail and ends with a very difficult and unique tucked toe front full dismount and she too has a beautiful line on this event. Her beam is clean and solid. She is a natural performer on floor with dynamic tumbling – she is going to light up LJC!!
