Clemson Falls to No. 23 Alabama

CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson women’s basketball team (4-2) fell to the No. 23 Alabama Crimson Tide (8-0) on the second day of competition in the Emerald Coast Classic in Destin, Florida. Mia Moore led the Tigers in scoring with 11, shooting 4-12 from the field and Tessa Miller charted eight boards. 

The Crimson Tide shot 45.9% from the field. Clemson held Alabama to only six made three-pointers and forced seven Crimson Tide turnovers. The Tigers grabbed 34 total rebounds for the game.

Moore and Loyal McQueen were both named to the Bay Bracket All-Tournament Team.

UP NEXT: Clemson will return home where they will face Kennesaw State on Dec. 1  at 2 p.m in Littlejohn Coliseum.
