Clemson Falls in Four Sets to FSU

CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson volleyball team dropped a back-and-forth battle to Florida State on Friday night in Jervey Gym in four sets (23-25, 25-23, 16-25, 20-25). Following the loss, Clemson falls to 11-13 overall and 3-10 in ACC play.

Graduate transfer Kaylee Martin led the Tigers with 15 points after picking up 14 kills and two blocks. Sophomore Camryn Hannah and junior Ani Clark followed with nine kills apiece, while Mckenna Slavik posted a double-double with 41 assists and 10 digs. 

Clemson finished with four aces compared to FSU’s one behind a two ace performance from Slavik, as sophomores Anna Renwick and Cate Long each added one. On the match, Renwick finished with 19 digs, and Ava Pritchard posted three blocks, both leading each respective category. Senior Crystal Childs reached the 200th-career dig milestone after finishing the match with four.

Florida State (17-5, 10-3 ACC) hit .326 led by four Seminoles tallying double-digit kills. Khori Louis finished with 17.5 points after recording 15 kills and four blocks (one solo, three assisted).
