Clemson Notes: 

  • The Clemson men’s tennis team is the No. 12 seed in the 2019 ACC Championships, and faces No. 13-seeded Boston College on Wednesday, April 17 at 9 a.m. at the Cary Tennis Park in Cary, N.C.
  • The Tigers played Boston College less than a week ago, on Friday, April 12, defeating the Eagles by a score of 5-2 in Chestnut Hill, Mass. Clemson won the doubles point, and Simon Baudry, Yizhou Liu, Teodor Giusca and Jacob Jahn earned singles wins in the victory.
  • Clemson has faced nine ranked opponents on the season, including six in the top-25 and three in the top-seven nationally.
  • Simon Baudry is currently ranked 92nd nationally in singles, according the ITA poll released on April 16. The native of Bordeaux, France leads the Clemson team in overall singles wins (12), dual singles wins (10) and ACC dual singles wins (4) for the 2018-19 season.
  • Pierre-Louis Dodens. A junior from Geneva, Switzerland, leads the Tigers in overall and dual doubles wins in 2018-19, with 15, to go along with a 15-5 record. Dodens is 9-4 when playing with freshman Jacob Jahn and 6-0 when playing with freshman Mike Agee.
