Series Note: In the last six meetings between the two teams at Duke (dating to and including the 1985 contest) the series is tied at 3-3. Clemson has scored 100 points (16.6 per game) and Duke has scored 93.

Ticket Notes: Tickets for Clemson’s next three home games against NC State (Oct. 7), Maryland (Oct. 14) and Georgia Tech (Oct. 21) are available, but are going fast. Call the Clemson ticket office for information (1-800-CLEMSON).

Clemson Injuries: Jermyn Chester, Starting OG, Out, surgery for knee cartilage injury. Could return for NC State.

Other Notes: Clemson has not been 4-0 since 1989. That Clemson team went to Duke ranked 7th in the nation with a 4-0 record for a game on September 30th. That 1-3 Duke team upset the Tigers, 21-17….Clemson is looking to go to 5-0 for the first time since 1987…a victory at Duke on Saturday would give Clemson five wins before October 1, a first in Clemson history….Keith Adams needs one tackle for loss to tie Anthony Simmons school record for consecutive games with at least one tackle for loss. Adams has 16 straight, Simmons had 17 straight over 1996 and 1997.
