CLEMSON, SC – Freshman Lindsay Brown (Encinitas, CA) scored the game’s lone goal late in the first half in leading sixth-ranked Clemson to a 1-0 win over 14th-ranked UCLA in the second game of the Clemson Women’s Soccer Nike Kick-Off Classic at Clemson, SC Friday evening.

It was the season opener for both teams. Clemson is ranked sixth according to the preseason NSCAA poll, while UCLA is ranked 14th.
