Clemson Concludes First Day of Cardinal Invite

Oak Ridge, Tenn. – Clemson wraps up day one of the Cardinal Invite on Saturday, March 16 with three first place finishes, five second place finishes and four third place finishes. 

Starting with the 3v8 at 9:14 a.m, Clemson competed in six races in the morning session. The Tigers 3v8, 1v8, 2v4 and 3v4 placed second, while the 1v4 and 2v8 placed third. Clemson started the afternoon races strong with the 3v8 earning first place with a 7:00.088 time and then immediately after the 1v8 also earning first place with a 6:34.055 time, defeating Navy and Louisville. Clemson’s 2v8 picked up another first place finish for the Tigers, finishing at 6:40.41.

The Tigers will continue their racing tomorrow morning at 10:26 a.m. with the 3v8. Results for tomorrow’s races can be found here.
