Clemson Baseball to Play Three Intrasquad Games

CLEMSON, SC – Clemson Tiger baseball coach Jack Leggett announced Wednesday plans to play three nine inning Orange-Purple intrasquad games at Tiger Field, with the first game slated for Friday beginning at 5:30 p.m. All three contests are open to the public and admission is free.

The team’s two other scrimmages will take place on Sunday, October 4 and Friday, October 9. The October 4 scrimmage will begin at 1:30 p.m., while the October 9 scrimmage will start at 5:30 p.m. At each scrimmage the team will take infield 30 minutes prior to first pitch.

Clemson finished the 1998 season with a record of 43-16 and advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the 12th straight season.
