CLEMSON, S.C. — The Clemson baseball team (21-16, 3-5 ACC), fresh off an 8-7 win over rival South Carolina on Wednesday, will host Duke (20-20, 1-9 ACC) in a three-game ACC series beginning on Friday at 7:15 p.m at Tiger Field. The two teams will also play on Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m.
The series will be Clemson’s first ACC home series of the season. Friday’s game will be the first game of a 16-game homestand for the Tigers.
Starting for the Tigers on Friday will be righthander Mike Paradis (4-0, 3.08 ERA). In his last start, Paradis earned the win over number-one ranked Florida State, snapping the Seminoles’ 21-game winning streak. Brad Dupree, also a righthander, will (3-4, 6.75 ERA) start for Duke.
Saturday’s game is Seneca Journal/Tribune and Clemson Messenger Family Night. Fans can bring the whole family for $5 with a coupon from the newspapers.
On Sunday, senior citizens can receive free admission when they present their AARP card at the gate and children 12-and-under can stand on the field with their favorite Tiger for the National Anthem.
