Clemson, S.C. – Coming off an extremely successful year one, Clemson head coach Amy Smith has announced the addition of Michigan State transfer, Tara Walsh, the newest member of team two who will join the Tigers for the 2024-25 season.
Walsh comes to Clemson after two seasons at Michigan State and two seasons at Auburn. At Michigan State, Walsh did not see any action in 2023, but competed in five meets in 2024. She was in the lineup on vault for two of the five meets, was an exhibition competitor twice and competed on floor twice as an exhibition.
At Auburn, Walsh competed on vault five times for the Tigers as a sophomore in 2022, posting three scores of 9.800 or better. She did not see any action as a freshman in 2021.
Walsh joins freshmen Dani Nielsen and Hannah Clark as newcomers on the 2024-25 roster, after Nielsen and Clark signed with the Tigers in the fall.
