Sunset, S.C. – Clemson women’s golf wrapped up the first round of play at the 2025 Clemson Invitational on Friday, shooting +8 as a team and finishing in 11th.
Clemson’s scoring lineup included four Tigers finishing the day at +2. Katherine Schuster and Chloe Holder each tallied four birdies on the afternoon. In her first tournament back from injury, Isabella Rawl opened her round with back-to-back birdies on holes two and three, but finished the day at +4.
Playing as individuals, freshmen Aitana Tuesta and Juliette Demeaux each shot a three-under-par 69. Allison Paik and Ivy Schulze tied with a +5.
Ohio State led all teams after the first round at -13, followed by SMU at -12 and Tennessee at -10.
Due to forecasted rains on Sunday, the tournament is now set for a shotgun start on Saturday morning at 9:30 a.m. Teams will play 27 holes, before returning on Sunday for a 9:30 a.m. shotgun start for the final nine holes.
