Bunk-Andersen Earns CoSIDA Academic All-District Honors

CLEMSON, S.C. – Clemson men’s soccer senior defender Patrick Bunk-Andersen was named to the 2018 Google Cloud Academic All-District Men’s Soccer Team for NCAA Division I District 4, which includes players from colleges in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and Puerto Rico.

Bunk-Andersen, a team captain for the 2018 campaign, has a career 3.66 GPA as a sports communication major while continuing to be a staple of Clemson’s back line since he arrived his freshman year. He played in all but one game during his four-year career and started all but one of those, totaling almost 7,500 minutes in 82 appearances with three different NCAA Tournament teams. This year, he netted a goal in the Tigers’ ACC opener against Boston College and then assisted on another during his senior day shutout of NC State, earning the season’s final ACC Defensive Player of the Week award.
