ATHENS, GA. – Georgia scored four two-out runs in the first inning and cruised to a 7-0 victory over Clemson at Foley Field on Tuesday night. The Bulldogs, who won both games of the home-and-home season series, improved to 21-20. The Tigers, who saw their five-game winning streak end, fell to 22-19.

The first two Bulldogs were retired in the first inning, then Stephen Wrenn singled and Daniel Nichols hit a run-scoring double. After a costly Tiger error, Skyler Weber and Brandon Stephens hit run-scoring singles to score three more runs. Georgia added a run in the fifth inning, but Steven Duggar saved at least one run with his stellar diving catch to end the inning. The Bulldogs scored two runs in the eighth inning as well.
