Brough Named to U-19 England National Team

CLEMSON, S.C. – Freshman midfielder Emily Brough has been named to the U-19 England National Team roster that will compete in two warm-up internationals at La Nucia Stadium in Alicante, Spain. The team consists of 25 players, 21 professionals and four collegiate players.

Brough enjoyed a successful freshman campaign for the Tigers, playing in 17 games and registering nearly 600 minutes on the pitch. She scored three goals on the year, netting a goal against No. 6 Notre Dame in her first career start. Prior to Clemson, Brough spent her club years with Liverpool and Manchester United and made her professional debut for Liverpool FC. She is the second youngest player to play for the club.

The trip will begin with a match against Germany on Thursday, Feb. 16 at noon EST before concluding on Tuesday, Feb. 21 against Switzerland at 8 a.m. EST. For coverage and updates follow @lionesses.
