Clemson, S.C. – Seniors Daisha Bradford and Amari Robinson both announced that they will return to Clemson and take advantage of their fifth year of eligibility granted by the NCAA to athletes whose careers were affected by COVID-19.
Robinson is coming off what was arguably her best season in a Clemson uniform, earning Second Team All-ACC honors, as well as being named Second Team All-ACC Tournament. The Douglasville, Ga., native and special education major was also named to the CSC Academic All-District team, the first honoree in school history. She also picked up her fourth-consecutive All-ACC Academic Team honor in early April. Robinson led the Tigers in scoring (13.9), rebounding (6.4) and was second on the team in shooting percentage (.492).
Bradford finished her second season in a Tiger uniform second on the team in points per game (10.1) and earned a spot as one of the best defenders in the league. Bradford finished #1 in the ACC and #19 in the nation in steals (83) and #2 in the ACC and #48 in the nation in steals per game (2.37).
The duo guided the Tigers to a 19-16 record (7-11 ACC), two top-25 wins, and a WNIT Super 16 appearance in 2022-23.
