Bouyer, Davis Share ACC Women’s Track Honor

CLEMSON, S.C. – Clemson’s Nikkie Bouyer and North Carolina’s DeAnne Davis share the ACC Women’s Performer of the Week honors after competing at the Pepsi Indoor Invitational.

Bouyer ran to a provisional time of 8.34 in the 60m hurdles while also finishing the 200m in 24.38 and the 60m dash with a time of 7.60. Bouyer’s mark in the 60m hurdles currently tops the ACC this season.

Davis made her mark this weekend in the field by provisionally qualifying in the long jump and triple jump. In the long jump Davis’ leap of 20’8 leads the ACC, while her triple jump mark of 41’8 ranks second in the conference.

Doug Ameigh garners the ACC Men’s Performer of the Week title after winning the high jump with a jump of 7’1 at the Pepsi Indoor Invitational. The 7’1 jump leads the ACC thus far and provisionally qualifies him for the NCAA’s.
