CLEMSON, S.C. – Senior defender Megan Bornkamp was named to the MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List for the second consecutive season by United Soccer Coaches on Thursday.
The announcement comes after Bornkamp was named a Defender to Watch by United Soccer Coaches and was voted to the Preseason All-ACC Team by league head coaches.
The two-time All American ended the 2022 campaign with two assists and four total points, as the Mooresville, N.C. native has tallied 51 career points as a Tiger.
Bornkamp and the No. 25 Tigers open their season tonight, Aug. 17, at Historic Riggs Field against South Carolina. Kickoff for that match is slated for 7 p.m. and will stream on ACCNX.
