Clemson, S.C. – Junior Annabelle Pancake has been named the ACC Co-Women’s Golfer of the Month for March, the ACC office announced today. It is Pancake’s first ACC honor of her career, and she shares it with Wake Forest’s Rachel Kuehn.
Pancake stacked back-to-back top 3 finishes to close out the month of March, including her first collegiate tournament victory at the Clemson Invitational. The Zionsville, Ind., native tied for the lowest round of the tournament with a 66 on Saturday to take home the trophy. Pancake set the Clemson record for consecutive rounds in the 60s with five in a row over all three rounds at Clover Cup and the first two rounds at Clemson Invitational. The previous record was five by Alice Hewson during the 2018-19 season. Pancake recorded 17 birdies en route to a second-place finish at the Clover Cup, before turning in 12 at the Clemson Invitational, including five on the final six holes of the front nine on Saturday.
Clemson is back on the course in mid-April, traveling to Greensboro, N.C., for the ACC Championship.
