AgSouth Homegrown Athlete of the Week – Yannick Maden

Yannick Maden, Men’s Tennis, Senior, Stuttgart, Germany

Maden helped the Tigers to conference road wins over Miami and Florida State with victories at number one singles and doubles.  He defeated Miami’s Diego Soto, 6-4, 6-1, and Florida State’s Dominic Controne, 6-4, 6-3, in singles play.  In doubles action, he and his brother Dominique defeated their Miami opponent by a score of 8-2, while their match against Florida State was not finished.  Maden is now 19-4 overall and 13-1 in dual singles matches, and the Maden brothers are 17-3 overall and 7-0 in dual doubles contests.  Maden earned ACC Player of the Week honors last week, for his play during the week of March 4-10.
