AgSouth Homegrown Athlete of the Week – Josipa Bek

Bek won two singles and two doubles matches last weekend to help the Tiger women’s tennis team to a 2-0 start to open the 2010 season. Against College of Charleston on Saturday, she won at flight one singles and flight three doubles (with teammate Estefania Balda.) On Sunday, she defeated her VCU opponents at number one singles and number three doubles (with Balda.) Bek is currently the ninth-ranked singles player in the nation.
