CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson men’s and women’s cross country teams are set to compete in the 2024 ACC Cross Country Championships on Friday, November 1 at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary. The men’s 8k championship is set to start at 9:40 a.m. ET and the women’s 6k championship is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. ET.
On the women’s side, the Tigers have had a strong season as freshman Silvia Jelelgo has been a top-three finisher in all four meets she has competed in. Following Jelelgo, Judy Kosgei has also tabbed top-three finishes in the three meets she has run this season.
For the men, senior Sawyer Dagan has shined as he earned two, top-five finishes this season as he will look to be named All-ACC for the second year in a row. Gladys Chepngetich will also look to be named All-ACC for the second season in a row as the 2023 ACC Cross Country Freshman of the Year is set to compete in her second ACC Cross Country Championship.
