CLEMSON, S.C.– The Clemson Tigers (6-2) are back at Duckworth for the first time since January 18. The Tigers will have an action packed weekend, hosting Memphis (0-5) and College of Charleston (0-2) on Saturday and UNC-Greensboro (0-6) and Queens (0-4) on Sunday.
The action begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 14 as Clemson faces off with Memphis, with a 2:30 p.m. match with College of Charleston to follow. The Tigers will also play host to UNC-Greensboro and Queens for the third doubleheader of the season on Sunday, Feb. 15, at the Duckworth Family Tennis Facility. The match against the Spartans is scheduled for 10:30 a.m., and the match against the Lions will follow at 3 p.m, admission is free to all.
The Tigers are coming off a successful road stint, during which the Tigers grabbed an upset win over then-No. 13 Pepperdine in the ITA Kickoff in Knoxville, Tenn. as well as wins over Kansas State and Kansas. Freshman Rinon Okuwaki continued to be a strong singles player for Clemson, starting the season undefeated with seven singles wins so far in the spring season.
