2025 MLB Tigers Season Wrapup

CLEMSON, S.C. – Seven former Tigers played in the major leagues in 2025, including first-year player Logan Davidson. Justin Wrobleski, who played one season (2019) with the Tigers before transferring, was a member of the World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers and pitched 1.1 scoreless innings in relief in Game 7. MLB veterans Carson Spiers, Spencer Strider, Bryce Teodosio, Eli White and Weston Wilson also saw action in the majors in 2025.

Davidson (2017-19) played nine games with the Athletics before being acquired by the Los Angeles Angels, where he played 10 games.

Spiers (2017-20) pitched his third MLB season with the Cincinnati Reds in 2025. He pitched 13.1 innings over three appearances (two starts), allowing only 13 hits with 11 strikeouts.

Strider (2018-20) pitched his fifth MLB season with the Atlanta Braves in 2025. In 125.1 innings pitched over 23 starts, he had a 4.45 ERA and 131 strikeouts.

Teodosio (2018-21) played his second season with the Los Angeles Angels in 2025. He totaled a homer, two doubles, seven doubles, seven RBIs and seven steals in 50 games along with several highlight-reel catches in the outfield.

White (2014-16) played his sixth MLB season and third with the Atlanta Braves in 2025. He hit .234 with 10 homers, three triples, eight doubles, 35 RBIs, 43 runs and 10 steals in 105 games.

Wilson (2014-16) played his third MLB season with the Philadelphia Phillies in 2025. He totaled five homers, four doubles, 17 RBIs, 15 runs and two steals in 52 games.

Wrobleski (2019) played his second MLB season with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2025. He was 5-5 with two saves, a 4.32 ERA and 76 strikeouts against 17 walks in 66.2 innings pitched over 24 appearances (two starts).

Every Tiger team from 1974 to 2021 had at least one future major leaguer on its roster.
