CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Clemson University men’s basketball was picked to finish seventh in the Atlantic Coast Conference following a vote of a select media panel.
The Tigers have outperformed media predictions 12 times out of Head Coach Brad Brownell’s 15 seasons at the helm, including each of the last six seasons.
This includes a 10-place improvement in 2017-18 when the Tigers were picked 13th in the preseason and finished third. That is the all-time record improvement in ACC history from the preseason to the postseason. That team also reached the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament and Brownell was named the National College Coach of the Year by Sports Illustrated.
